This bit has a curved mouthpiece and French link to reduce the "nutcracker" action and to alleviate pressure on the tongue and bars of the mouth. By preventing the "nutcracker" effect, this mouthpiece is not making contact with the roof of your horse's mouth which will keep your horse more calm and comfortable during your ride. This allows for a more effective communication between the horse and rider and allows for relaxation and salivation. Dee rings are a compromise between an eggbutt and a full cheek snaffle, preventing pinching at the corners of the mouth. Made with stainless steel.
